Think Pink
Dear Friend, I am delighted to share with you my vision. Think Pink. Think Life., is a Breast Cancer Awareness Event where we honor, remember and honestly inform others about what breast cancer is all about . Having a mother, grandmother, and a host of other relatives who have survived, are fighting, or who have been taken away by this disease, I felt compelled to do my part in making others aware. One of the main points in our Think Pink theme is that Cancer does not mean death. We encourage women and men, to not give up, to fight, and most importantly, to get informed so that they can keep living lives full of purpose. Breast cancer attaches itself to no specific race, age or gender. Being informed is something we ALL can benefit from. Think Pink isnt an outpour of information. We give manicures, light lunch, give-aways, a raffle, simple exercise sessions, health information and my favorite portion, real-life testimonies. These testimonies come from women who have experienced and fought this battle head on. They answer questions, and give honest accounts of what its like, from diagnosis, to post surgery.
